The Specialist, Supply Assurance Support is responsible for developing and executing supply planning strategies for Strategic Accounts. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to ensure supply continuity, minimize risks, and support business growth by proactively addressing demand and capacity challenges.
Our Team
You will collaborate with Manufacturing Plants, Sales, and Customer Service teams to ensure accurate supply planning and timely communication to customers. This role serves as a key bridge across functions, providing real-time updates, managing escalations, and driving alignment to meet customer requirements.
What You Will Do
- Drive supply assurance for Strategic Accounts across new programs and existing business
- Analyze and reconcile OEM vs. Contract Manufacturer (CM) forecasts to determine true demand across programs
- Partner with manufacturing plants to validate capacity sufficiency and develop solutions for any gaps
- Ensure supply planning strategies are effectively executed and aligned with business priorities
- Communicate demand fluctuations and supply risks across Sales, Demand Planning, and Operations, and take timely corrective actions
- Provide regular updates and reporting on supply-demand status for key items to stakeholders
- Monitor raw materials and finished goods inventory to mitigate excess and obsolescence risks
- Facilitate regular reviews with Sales and Customer Service teams to ensure alignment on customer requirements and supply status
- Manage product allocation for Strategic Accounts to prevent customer line-down situations
- Escalate critical supply issues to senior management and drive resolution
- Support customer escalations and complaints by coordinating with cross-functional teams and ensuring timely issue resolution
- Deliver data analysis, insights, and reports to support decision-making
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Diploma in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Planning, Sales Operations, or Customer Service
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong organization, coordination, and follow-up skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
