This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization needs and individual performance.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first line fault response service and fault attendance for Automated People Mover (APM) System to minimize the service impact during system outage
- Assist to regulate, control and supervise the APM train movement and monitor the overall system performance to ensure safe operation of APM System
- Liaise with internal departments, business partners, contractors, statutory bodies etc. for system fault handling and related maintenance works and enhancement projects
- Assist to develop, refine and execute all related APM operational procedures, contingency plans, drills and exercises
- Assist the line maintenance team to coordinate and supervise contractors in carrying out the corrective and preventive maintenance works, overhaul works, workmanship monitoring, test & commissioning of alteration and improvement works
- Prepare duty log, incident report, and conduct system fault investigation and analysis
- Assist in providing technical solutions to new works of APM System and/or other related electrical and mechanical facilities works during the design stage to ensure all future maintenance requirements have been taken into account
- Coordinate with both internal and external parties to manage new works of APM System so as to ensure that the works are to be conducted in a safe, good quality and efficient manner with minimal impact on daily airport operations
- Perform shift duties is required
Requirements:
- Higher Diploma or Higher Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic Engineering or other related railway disciplines with at least 4 years relevant working experience in supervision of maintenance and/or construction works. Degree holder with 2 years relevant working experience will also be considered
- Candidates without the above specified academic qualification but have 10 years relevant working experience will also be considered
- Solid experience in railway industry or maintenance of large scale E&M Systems under live operation environment is an advantage
- Holder of Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker for HV and/or LV electrical installations is an advantage
- Team player with good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Possess a valid HK driving license (Class 1, 2) is preferred
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua would be an advantage
