The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) is tasked to undertake, encourage, promote and facilitate urban renewal of Hong Kong in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Renewal Authority Ordinance and the Urban Renewal Strategy published by the Government. The URA adopts a comprehensive and holistic approach by ways of its two core businesses i.e. redevelopment and rehabilitation, as well as preservation, revitalisation and retrofitting, for creating a sustainable and quality living environment for the people of Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
Assist and support the placemaking team in executing district-based initiatives
Conduct district-based research and analysis
Conduct community engagement surveys and collect data to provide feedback on the effectiveness of district-based initiatives
Assist in project opening initiatives, including marketing, research, docent engagement, and tour arrangements
Assist in managing social media channels and posting for URA projects
Assist in social impact assessments for tenants, including data analysis, research, and background searches
Requirements:
Undergraduate / postgraduate students in Placemaking, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Urban Studies, Architecture, Design, PR and Media, Art and Cultural, Curatorship or related disciplines
Pursuing studies during the 2025-26 and 2026-27 academic years, with an expected graduation date of Summer 2027 or 2028 (i.e. currently in Year 2 or 3 of your program)
