The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) is tasked to undertake, encourage, promote and facilitate urban renewal of Hong Kong in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Renewal Authority Ordinance and the Urban Renewal Strategy published by the Government. The URA adopts a comprehensive and holistic approach by ways of its two core businesses i.e. redevelopment and rehabilitation, as well as preservation, revitalisation and retrofitting, for creating a sustainable and quality living environment for the people of Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
Check and prepare documents for the internal approval process of rehabilitation subsidy schemes
Check and prepare documents in relation to the contract administration of consultancy services
Support the refinement of the building rehabilitation website, assist in promoting building rehabilitation and preventive maintenance
Support data management and administration for different systems, such as Urban Renewal Information System and Building Condition Management Information System
Assist in collecting, analysing, and summarising data for reports and presentations
Assist in conducting research on industry best practices, emerging trends, and relevant regulations
Support the review of contract templates, and development of policies and standards for building rehabilitation
Requirements:
Currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate student in Architecture, Building Services Engineering, Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Computer Science, or related disciplines at a recognized tertiary institution
Pursuing studies during the 2025-26 and 2026-27 academic years, with an expecte d graduation date of Summer 2027 or 2028 (i.e. currently in Year 2 or 3 of your program)
Prior internship experience is an advantage
Demonstrates curiosity, a strong desire to learn, and initiative to make a positive impact on society. Passionate about enhancing the built environment by supporting and promoting building rehabilitation efforts for property owners
