Job Description
The appointee will work in the Wellness and Counselling Centre of the Office of Student Affairs. Major duties include (a) providing psychological counselling and psychotherapy services to students (b) conducting risk assessments and providing crisis intervention for students in distress (c) coordinating developmental programmes (d) promoting psychological health and wellness (e) providing professional consultation and delivering in-service training and (f) performing any other duties as assigned by the supervisor(s).Applicants should have (i) a Master%27s degree in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Educational Psychology or Social Work (ii) registration, accreditation, or full professional membership with a recognized professional body (iii) at least three years of relevant post-qualification professional experience (iv) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) and (v) strong communication and interpersonal skills, a passion for student wellbeing, a self-driven and proactive attitude, and a strong team spirit.
