Student Advising Officer (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Campus Life Section of Centre of Development and Resources for Students (CEDARS)(Ref.: 533964) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal).
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree with at least 3-5 years of relevant post-qualification administrative experience, preferably in event management, marketing, multimedia publicity, or tertiary education. Strong communication skills and fluency in Putonghua and English are essential, along with familiarity with social media platforms popular among non-local students. Proficiency in publicity, digital marketing, and multimedia content creation is required. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a genuine passion for student support, cultural integration, and proactive engagement, with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
The appointee will join the Global Student Support Team at CEDARS, dedicated to enhancing the experience and well-being of non-local students-including international and Chinese Mainland students-through comprehensive support and engagement initiatives. Key duties include but are not limited to:
Design and deliver university-wide anti-scam campaigns and educational outreach, addressing prevalent risks among non-local students and promoting awareness of personal safety and financial security.
