Lead and scale structural engineering team for sever and storage product development in Taipei, collaborating globally across engineering, architecture, and operations.
Establish clear goals, KPIs, and career development plans for team members
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing structural engineering team
Define team structure, resource planning, hiring strategy, and skill development roadmap
Manage productization, capacity planning, and lab operations, including budget control and equipment maintenance.
Ensure on-time delivery with quality, cost, and performance targets met
Oversee structural design, simulation (FEA), and validation activities across multiple programs
Define and drive Structural technology roadmap (FEA, shock/vibration, board-level reliability, packaging interaction) aligned with business needs
Build and enhance team capabilities (automation, advanced simulation, lab validation, AI/optimization tools where applicable)
Identify and introduce industry new technologies to improve engineering efficiency and product reliability
Lead crisis response for quality, material, or capacity disruptions, providing real-time updates to executive teams.
Mentor and develop engineering talent, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering, mechanics, Marine engineering, Civil engineering or equivalent experience beyond
12+ years of experience in mechanical development, structural analysis, and FEA
Proven people management experience leading engineering teams
Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
Strong expertise in:
FEA (Ansys, LS-DYNA, Sherlock, or the equivalent tools)
Shock & vibration theory and testing
Reliability validation methodologies and industry specifications
Strong leadership in cross-functional collaboration and decision-making
Excellent communication skills; ability to present to technical and business stakeholders in English
