About The Role

This is a leadership role, reporting directly to the Head of Uber Advertising, GRCN. You'll be responsible for accelerating our partnerships with major brands and top-tier media agencies across Taiwan, Hong Kong and China Export. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape the future of Uber's advertising business in one of our most exciting regions.

As the Uber Advertising Strategic Verticals Team Lead, you will be a part of the founding team and lead a group of high performing experienced Client Partners and Partner Managers who oversee revenue and account growth from the leading fortune 500 brands.

Your Impact in Role

  • Train, coach, and develop a high-performing ad sales team with deep expertise across key verticals
  • Own and deliver revenue targets while ensuring impact, execution quality, and customer success
  • Manage accurate forecasting, pipeline health, and team performance metrics
  • Build senior-level relationships with media holding companies, agencies, and major brands
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Measurement, and Operations to tailor Uber's ad solutions and go-to-market approach for key customers
  • Lead executive-level meetings with advertisers and agencies to develop Joint Business Plans and secure Annual Commitments

The Experience You'll Bring

  • 8+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Account Management within the advertising or media industry
  • Proven success leading digital ad sales teams and driving results across agencies and brand clients
  • Deep expertise in digital media-including programmatic, display, video, mobile, and performance advertising
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with comfort engaging internal and external audiences
  • Experience designing, auditing, and improving sales processes
  • Strong knowledge of digital and mobile advertising
  • A well-developed network of senior contacts across GRCN media agencies and top brands

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience driving large-scale ad partnerships or transformations
  • Familiarity with performance-based advertising models
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed, and collaborative environment
