Strategically plan and execute packaging to achieve high standards of safety, productivity, efficiency, and quality, driving towards zero defects. Implement OEE systems for continuous improvement in machine and manpower productivity.
Oversee all aspects of automated warehouse operations, ensuring smooth dispatches and optimal finished goods inventory. Collaborate with IT and engineering for effective system maintenance and troubleshooting.
Lead the safe and timely commissioning of new packaging infrastructure, automated systems (ASRS, DCS, SAP integration), and equipment, working closely with all stakeholders.
Enforce strict safety protocols and maintain world-class housekeeping, waste, and spillage management standards, aiming for zero reportable incidents.
Manage accurate inventory through stringent controls (physical vs. book), ensure all movements are logged in SAP, and prepare comprehensive stock reports for stakeholders.
Requirements:
Education:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Warehouse Operations, preferably within the power plant or chemical industry.
Proficiency with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
Strong computer skills, particularly advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Demonstrated ability in the application of statistical tools for analysis and improvement.
Solid understanding of business principles and financial metrics.
In-depth knowledge of packaging standards and statutory requirements.
Proven experience in managing packaging operations.
Excellent proficiency in English communication (verbal and written).
