Staff QA Engineer

RUCKUS Networks is hiring for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong testing experience in networking environments, excellent communication skills, and a solid foundation in scripting and automationespecially using Python.

How You'll Help Us Connect the World

Develop and document detailed test plans and test cases based on functional and technical specifications.

Perform thorough software and system testing on Wi-Fi, Switch and Controller products.

Collaborate closely with developers, customer support teams, and field engineers to identify and resolve issues.

Design and execute manual and automated test scenarios to ensure product quality and performance.

Analyze and troubleshoot issues across Wireless, Wired, L2/L3/L4 protocols, and WiFi/Switch features.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

Minimum 6 years of experience in QA engineering, network/system testing, or software validation.

Hands-on experience in either Scale and Performance, WiFi Feature, L2/L3 Switch testing, WiFi Management and Switch Management.

Strong knowledge of networking protocols: Wireless authentication and L2/L3/L4 protocols.

Experience with automation tools and scriptingPython preferred.

Familiarity with QA methodologies, test management tools, and testing servers.
