Job Description
In your new role you will:
- Develop PD Controller firmware on Notebook/Desktop/Embedded Host applications and ensure compliance with USB PD specifications.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues related to USB PD firmware, including identifying and resolving problems, and collaborating with SW/Validation/Design teams to resolve system-level issues.
- Test and validate USB PD firmware applications to ensure they meet the required specifications, performance, and reliability standards.
- Support new/customized feature implementation on customer design.
- Conduct technical training on system levels with internal and external stakeholders
- Establishing and maintaining customer relations
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Electrical Engineering/Information Engineering.
- 5+ years of work experience in firmware development related fields.
- Familiar with C language developing/programming skills are needed.
- Good experience with embedded processor architecture.
- Experience in firmware development environment such as Eclipse IDE, ModusTool Box IDE, etc.
- Familiar with various debugging techniques and experience in using debugging tools.
- Communication interface skills: I2C, UART, SPI, etc.
- Knowledge of USB Power Delivery (PD) is a plus.
- Knowledge of hardware design is a plus.
- Knowledge of version control tools such as Git is a plus.
- Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English.
