Key Responsibilities

  • Lead hardware design and development activities for server system products, ensuring alignment with product requirements, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
  • Define and review server system architecture, including motherboard, subsystem, and platform-level hardware design.
  • Execute system hardware design, schematic review, functional verification, debugging, and validation activities for assigned projects.
  • Develop and maintain test fixtures, validation methodologies, and engineering documentation to support design verification and manufacturing readiness.
  • Analyze, diagnose, and resolve complex hardware issues throughout development, pilot runs, customer demonstrations, and mass production stages.
  • Collaborate with software, firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, quality, and product management teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for design, reliability, and manufacturing issues to improve product quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Support product introduction, manufacturing ramp-up, and sustaining engineering activities to ensure successful product deployment.

Skills Experience

Must-Have

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in hardware design and development of server system products.
  • Deep understanding of server architecture, system integration, motherboard design, and hardware engineering principles.
  • Proven experience in system-level hardware design, functional verification, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of high-speed digital design, power architecture, signal integrity, and board-level debugging techniques.
  • Experience supporting products through multiple development stages, including development, pilot run, qualification, and mass production.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Good-to-Have

  • Experience with enterprise server platforms, storage systems, or data center infrastructure products.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, reliability testing, and product qualification methodologies.
  • Knowledge of firmware, BIOS, or platform software interactions with server hardware.
  • Experience leading technical projects or mentoring engineering teams.
