Hiring for a Senior Technical Project Manager in Taiwan, for one of the leading enterprise IT solutions and digital transformation services provider.

Role details:

  • Title / Designation: Senior Technical Project Manager
  • Reporting Manager: General Manager
  • Location: Taipei, Taiwan.

Role & responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end delivery of large-scale hardwaresoftware integrated projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and in-scope execution for EPD devices and mobile applications.
  • Lead cross-functional and multi-region teams across Taiwan, the U.S., India, and ODM partners, ensuring alignment among engineering, QA, design, product, vendors, and clients.
  • Plan, track, and control projects by developing and maintaining detailed project plans covering milestones, dependencies, deliverables, schedules, and progress.
  • Manage hardwaresoftware integration risks by proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating technical and delivery risks throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Act as the primary stakeholder interface, serving as the main liaison between internal teams, ODM vendors, and external partners to ensure clear communication and expectation management.
  • Drive resource planning and allocation to optimize team productivity and ensure efficient utilization across global teams.
  • Manage scope, schedule, and cost changes using structured change management and control mechanisms.
  • Monitor project performance and health using appropriate KPIs, metrics, and project management tools.
  • Facilitate execution ceremonies, including daily scrums and stand-ups, to ensure continuous alignment and issue resolution.
  • Prepare and present regular status updates and executive-level reports on project progress, risks, and outcomes.

Candidate requirements:

  • 5+ years of project management experience (810 years preferred) in software and/or hardware development environments.
  • Proven experience managing mobile application and/or embedded device projects, demonstrating hands-on delivery of technical programs.
  • Experience leading multi-national, cross-functional teams, with effective coordination across multiple sites.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with the ability to apply them appropriately across different project phases.
  • Demonstrated ability in resource planning, allocation, and multi-site coordination, ensuring efficient execution.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, for stakeholder and executive interactions.
  • Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills, enabling effective handling of complex workloads.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Management.
