Your firmware, running in millions of laptops/Desktops

This role puts you at the front line of firmware development for laptops, desktops, and peripheral products. You'll lead an Embedded SW team from architecture through mass production, and you'll get to:
- Drive the architecture and implementation of core embedded firmware — not just manage it
- Build out automated regression testing, CI/CD pipelines, and lead the adoption of AI tooling to keep the team's development practices evolving
- Work closely with partners across regions to keep quality and timelines on track
- Own post-launch firmware maintenance — security updates, bug fixes, OS compatibility — keeping the product strong long after release
What you bring:
- 8+ years of embedded software development experience, including 3+ years managing a team
- Deep familiarity with UEFI BIOS and Embedded Controller development, with a strong understanding of PC architecture and firmware-related electronics
- Hands-on experience with code review, CI, automated testing, and firmware release processes
- Strong communication skills and experience managing cross-functional and international collaboration; fluent English (reading, writing, speaking, listening)
- A genuine curiosity for new tools and technologies — and the drive to bring that curiosity to your team
