The Sr. SQA Automation Engineer is a technical expert responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced automated test frameworks for industrial network products. This role focuses on continuous technical improvement, ensuring comprehensive L2/L3 protocol verification and performance benchmarking. The engineer serves as a technical anchor, driving architectural decisions and optimizing CI/CD integration maturity to achieve superior automation efficiency.

- Design and maintain scalable automated test frameworks for managed switch and router products (L2/L3 protocol validation, device management, and performance benchmarking).
- Develop reusable test modules and universal test environments to improve cross-project and cross-product-line efficiency.
- Maintain high-quality technical documentation, including test architecture descriptions and automated test reports.
- Collaborate with RD and PM teams to align test scope with product release plans and conduct root cause analysis on complex defects.
- Integrate automated test suites into GitLab CI/CD pipelines to enforce quality gates at each release milestone.
- Maintain test result dashboards and automated reporting mechanisms for management visibility.

- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software QA or automated testing of network devices (Switch / Router / Gateway).
- Solid understanding of L2 protocols: VLAN, STP/MSTP, LACP, LLDP, QoS.
- Solid understanding of L3 protocols: OSPF, VRRP, static routing.
- Proficiency in Python for test automation development (pytest framework).
- Hands-on experience with traffic generators: Spirent Test Center or IXIA IxNetwork.
- Experience with GitLab / Git version control and CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Familiarity with Linux CLI and Wireshark for network diagnostics.

- Technical Expertise: Deeply understands L2/L3 behavior and interoperability across industrial switch and router platforms.
- Automation Architecture: Architects clean, maintainable, and scalable test automation code and frameworks.
- Analytical Thinking: Breaks down complex protocol behavior into structured, verifiable test scenarios.
- Ownership & Initiative: Proactively identifies automation gaps and drives technical improvements.
- Communication:Clearly presents test strategies, coverage metrics, and quality status to technical stakeholders.
Preferred / Bonus Competencies
- Familiarity with router-specific features: IPsec VPN, cellular failover, firewall / NAT policies.
- API automation experience: REST, WEB.
- Knowledge of IEC 62443 cybersecurity standards for industrial networking.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Xray for test lifecycle management.
