Job Description

At IDEKU, we develop modern POS solutions that support merchants and businesses across multiple operational scenarios, including POS systems, self-service kiosks, QR ordering, payments, loyalty programs, and store management workflows. Our products are used in fast-paced, transaction-heavy environments where stability, usability, and product quality directly impact daily business operations.

As our platform continues to scale, we are looking for a Senior QA Engineer who combines strong manual testing judgment with hands-on automation experience. This role works closely with cross-functional teams and regional stakeholders to identify risks early, communicate quality concerns clearly, and improve how we build and release products.

We believe QA is not only about finding bugs. It is also about building confidence in product quality, enabling sustainable development velocity, and improving how teams deliver reliable products.

【Responsibilities】

Cross-functional Collaboration & Requirement Review

- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, designers, and regional stakeholders to deliver high-quality products in fast-paced development cycles

- Participate early in requirement reviews to clarify acceptance criteria, identify gaps, and improve testability before development starts

Test Planning & Execution

- Design and execute effective test plans and scenarios across regression, integration, end-to-end, exploratory, API, and web/mobile testing

- Assess cross-platform and integration impacts across POS, kiosk, QR ordering, and other related product workflows

- Proactively identify risks, edge cases, requirement gaps, and product inconsistencies throughout development cycles

Automation & Issue Investigation

- Build, maintain, and improve automated test coverage to support reliable regression validation and sustainable release quality

- Work closely with developers to investigate issues, narrow down root causes, and validate fixes across impacted areas

Quality Process & Continuous Improvement

- Communicate quality concerns and defect impact clearly to support prioritization and release decision-making

- Optimize testing workflows and quality processes to improve engineering efficiency and release confidence

【Requirements】

- Strong manual testing mindset with the ability to think critically from user, business, and system perspectives

- Strong ownership and communication skills in cross-functional and multi-region environments

- Ability to proactively identify risks, requirement gaps, and quality concerns throughout development cycles

- Experience building, maintaining, or improving automated test coverage for API, integration, end-to-end, or web/mobile testing

- Familiarity with API, integration, end-to-end, exploratory, and modern web/mobile testing practices

- Basic understanding of system architecture, API interactions, data flow, and integration points

- Comfortable making quality recommendations and assessing release risks in fast-paced environments

- Open-minded and proactive attitude with a willingness to share ideas and

improve team workflows

【Nice to Have】

- Experience working in startup or fast-paced product teams

- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines or release quality gates

- Experience testing POS, payment, e-commerce, or transaction-based systems

- Hands-on experience with performance testing and defining performance metrics with stakeholders

- Familiarity with production monitoring, logging systems, or post-release validation workflows

- Passion for leveraging modern tools and AI-assisted workflows to improve testing efficiency and product quality
