Role: Mechanical Engineering
Job Description (Roles & Responsibilities):
- Conduct NB/PC related product teardowns.
- Identify and describe the material and process of ME components.
- Perform cost modeling and analysis of both our and competitive products for cost benchmarking and value analysis.
- Collaborate with internal partners or resources to complete teardown activities and summary reports.
- Manage cost benchmark collection, maintenance, and management.
- Oversee tools and equipment maintenance and management.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 2–5 years of working experience in the NB/PC related industry.
- Technical Skills:
- Solid understanding of and ability to identify the material, manufacturing, and decoration processes for NB/PC Mechanical or Thermal parts.
- Experience in Mechanical design, Thermal design, Mechanical part, or Process development for NB/PC related products.
- Solid understanding of NB/PC system architecture and key mechanical parts.
- Solid understanding of the cost structure for NB/PC mechanical parts.
- Ability to read and identify mechanical drawings and specifications.
- Other Requirements:
- Good written and verbal communication in English.
- Proficiency in office tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop).
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and committed to delivery.
