Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leading external suppliers in planning and executing development builds and new product ramps.
  • Drive ramp readiness with engineering, operations and suppliers to ensure quality, capacity, cost, and manufacturing processes meet SMCI's requirements.
  • Communicate requirements and schedules to facilitate technical readiness with SMCI's supply chain teams.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of program management experience in high-volume manufacturing, with expertise in design, process optimization, commodity cost analysis, factory cost control, supply chain, and quality management.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% to domestic and international locations.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships, lead cross-functional teams, and influence effectively within a matrix organization.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments, demonstrating initiative and attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of drive, motivation, and energy to tackle and complete challenging tasks.
