Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Supermicro is looking for an account PM who is experienced with server project management experience for customer requirements. In this role, you will utilize your professional knowledge and communication skills to collaborate efficiently with cross-function teams on all customer's requirement fulfillment to get customer's satisfaction.
- With Business Development/Sales
- Support BD/Sales team on server/rack/cluster business practices.
- Perform a good role for coordination with customers and internal teams in biz initial/product development/mass production/EOL stages.
- Communicate effectively with customers for technical and quality issues during product life cycle.
- With Engineering
- Leverage existing resources and coordinate for customization on products to meet customer's target schedule.
- Coordinate internal engineering resources to meet customer products requirements.
- With Project Management Execution
- Regular tracing development status, issue priority and risk escalation management in whole product life cycle.
- Coordinate and drive solution for any issues found in sample build and mass production.
- Engage with material/production planning and coordinate with sales/customer to solve issues about forecast and shipment fulfillment.
- Keep sustaining support after development stage, including production issues, RMA, ECO implementation, etc.
- Collaborate with cross-function teams on customer's requirement fulfillment.
- With Customer Satisfaction, service and quality
- For service: coordinate internal engineering and operation resource for prompt responses on customer's requests.
- For Quality: make sure the OEM product performance and reliability meet customer's expectation. And ISO audit support.
- Coordinate and drive internal engineering resources to meet customer's quality assurance requirements for product and services.
- Support Operation and RMA departments to provide expected service to OEM customers.
Qualifications
- Education: BS/MS of engineering background or equivalent work experience with business related degree.
- 10+ years of ICT industry experience. Server related is preferred.
- 5+ years on tier 1 or 2 ODM/OEM project management for ICT products.
- Dual diligence for customer requirement fulfillment.
- Good written and verbal negotiation and communication skills in both English and Mandarin. Japanese is a plus.
- Can-do attitude and able to work with minimum supervision.
- Proven the ability/enthusiastic to get to know new technology and face the new challenge.
