Job Description

- Lead NPI activities from prototype builds through product qualification and volume production.
- Manage product transfer and manufacturing ramp-up activities across global production sites.
- Collaborate with R&D, process engineering, quality, operations, supply chain, and external manufacturing partners.
- Drive yield improvement, process optimisation, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for product and manufacturing issues.
- Oversee engineering change management, including ECO execution, BOM control, and product configuration management.
- Analyse manufacturing data, quality metrics, and reliability results to support continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, specifications, procedures, and work instructions.
- Support supplier qualification and technical issue resolution related to production and product performance.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Optoelectronics, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Engineering, NPI, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related technical role.
- Experience in optical transceivers, silicon photonics, optical engines, semiconductor packaging, or high-speed interconnect products is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, yield management, statistical analysis, DOE, and quality improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with high-speed communication technologies, optical testing, reliability qualification, and product validation processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a global and multicultural environment.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
