Purpose of this Position
Moxa's Device Connectivity (DC) business exists to connect industrial edge networks, bridging heterogeneous interfaces and protocols while ensuring high compatibility and cybersecurity.
As the Product Manager for Device Connectivity, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align market needs with Moxa's technical leadership and product marketing strategy, work closely with regional business teams to identify application trends.
All of these responsibilities contribute to building a holistic view of industrial connectivity business, from market discovery, solution value definition and narrative for long-term portfolio.
This role ensures that Moxa's connectivity solutions remain industry-leading, application-driven, and growth-oriented in evolving mission-critical markets for the decades to come.
Major Areas of Responsibility
- Device Connectivity Marketing Strategy
- Lead the Device Connectivity global marketing strategy, translating Moxa's technical leadership into a compelling, industry-oriented solution narrative.
- Direct the creation of Marketing Plan and Sales Playbooks, empowering the team to speak from customers or industry's viewpoint.
- Strategic Cross-functional Integration
- Conduct deep-dive analysis into vertical-specific pain points to define how Device Connectivity can serve as a strategic enabler for customer digital transformation.
- Influence cross-functional stakeholders (Regional teams, R&D) to prioritize industry business development activities and product or technology planning.
- Establish systematic frameworks to track the business impact of new initiatives, ensuring that field feedback is closed loop and utilized to optimize the portfolio's competitive edge.
Minimum Job Requirements
- Education:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or science required
- Industrial-related hands-on experience preferred
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Industrial Communication, Industrial Cybersecurity, or other technical industries
- Minimum of 3 years in Product Manager, Technical Marketing, Business Development, or Field Application Engineer role
- Familiarity with industrial segments in machine builders, utilities, critical infrastructure are strong plus
- Language:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin
- TOEIC 785 or equivalent
