Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The duties shall be carried out in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act, including but not limited to the following :
- Plan and implement occupational safety and health management programs.
- Planning and implementing workplace monitoring.
- Contractor management and risk assessment.
- Workplace risk assessment and hazard mitigation to ensure employee safety.
- Organize safety and health training for employees.
- Chemicals, PPEs and emergency response equipment management.
- ISO audit preparation and response.
- Conduct Safety and health committee meeting.
- Conduct workplace inspections and provide improvement recommendations.
Qualifications
- Registered Occupational safety and health management personnel (Grade B) license is must and Occupational Safety Management Specialist (Grade A) or Occupational Health Management Specialist (Grade A) license is preferred.
- Three years of relevant experience at least.
- A bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health or environmental engineering or related field preferred.
- Have good interaction skills and have the ability to build liaisons between the different company departments and the OHS.
- Excellent skills using Excel, Power Point, and other MS software.
