Job Summary
- NPI Cost Analyst is responsible for establishing the cost models for new products. The cost model include wafer fabrication and test, assembly, and final test. This position requires high level of understanding basic semiconductor chip fabrication and test, yield and throughput concept. This person need excellent communication skills (English is a must), and ability to follow up constantly with cross functional teams such as engineering, finance and operations.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain cost models for all new SiTime products.
- Work with NPI engineers and cross functional to document the production flow
- Analyzing yield, process time and multiple factors impacting manufacturing cost.
- Project various simulations with different assumptions.
- Present the cost model and cost reduction opportunities to higher managment
Qualifications & Requirements (Education Must Be Included)
- Bachelor's degree or above in semiconductor related field.
- 5+ years in product costing/engineering costing in semiconductor industry.
- Familiar with semiconductor fabrication/process and test flow
- Strong knowledge in Excel including implementing macros and equations
- Advanced software skills for efficient modeling adjustment.
- Excellent communication skills. Fluent in English is required.
- Being proactive and ability to follow up cross functionally
