(Sr.) Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer (MFE)

Molex delivers high-performance optical solutions from components to integrated systems. Our MFG team drives innovation in process efficiency, capacity planning, and production support. As a Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer, you will help the team optimize production lines, plan layouts, and analyze process efficiency to support daily operations. Also, you will play a hands-on role in optimizing production line layouts, improving manufacturing processes, and supporting equipment operations to ensure seamless daily manufacturing activities.

What You Will Do (Job Description)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support production volume estimation and labor hour analysis.
• Plan and optimize production line layouts and workflow.
• Collaborate with PMC to help forecast capacity and support scheduling.
• Assist in New Product Introduction (NPI), help establish standard operating procedures (SOPs), and drive yield/process improvement initiatives.
• Support daily equipment maintenance, assist in establishing preventive maintenance protocols, and perform basic troubleshooting to maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  
  

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
• 1–5+ years experience or internships in industrial engineering, process analysis, or manufacturing support
• Strong logical reasoning and a data-driven approach to troubleshooting hands-on engineering and workflow challenges
• Interest in manufacturing improvement and data-driven problem solving.
  
  

What Will Put You Ahead

• Basic knowledge of capacity modeling, line balancing, or layout planning.
• Familiarity with production cost and efficiency metrics.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing equipment, mechanical/electrical mechanisms, or automation systems.
• Familiarity with key performance metrics such as OEE, production cost, and process efficiency.
• Good communication and team collaboration skills
• Proactive, independent, and detail-oriented
