We are building a resilient and AI-enabled global distribution network, and this role will play a key part in strengthening our warehouse operations, 3PL management, and logistics process automation.
We are looking for a Senior Logistics Specialist with strong hands-on experience in warehouse operations, 3PL management, inventory control, and global freight coordination.
This role goes beyond traditional logistics execution. In addition to managing daily warehouse and fulfillment operations, you will help redesign logistics workflows using AI agents and automation tools. The goal is to improve operational visibility, reduce repetitive manual work, enhance inventory accuracy, and build scalable processes for global logistics operations.
Typical Accountabilities
- Warehouse Operations & 3PL Management
- Serve as the primary operational contact for global Third-Party Logistics partners
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, fulfillment, inventory movement, and related execution tasks
- Monitor 3PL performance, service quality, fulfillment accuracy, and operational compliance through regular KPI tracking
- Lead inventory reconciliation, cycle count programs, and stock discrepancy investigations.
- Improve warehouse storage logic and inventory control processes to enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency
- Manage reverse logistics and RMA processes, including product inspection, repacking, restocking, or disposition coordination with 3PL partners
- Arrange and track sea, air, and courier shipments from factories to global 3PL warehouses.
- Prepare and manage shipping and customs documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and other required documents
- Resolve logistics disruptions such as shipment delays, port congestion, customs issues, or warehouse bottlenecks through practical contingency plans
AI Agent-Enabled Operations Design
- Redesign warehouse and logistics processes using AI agents or automation tools to reduce repetitive manual execution
- Build or support at least 3 AI-enabled logistics workflows within the first 6 months, such as: Inventory exception detection; Proactive shipment tracking; Freight invoice auditing; 3PL KPI benchmarking; RMA case triage and routing
- Consolidate scattered 3PL operational data from spreadsheets and documents into a structured data layer that AI agents can read, analyze, and act on
- Measure the impact of each AI-enabled workflow, including time saved, error reduction, cost impact, and efficiency improvement
- Work with Positive Grid's internal AI agent stack and collaborate with internal teams to integrate logistics workflows into existing tools
- Learn and apply AI agent tools in daily operations, with support from the company's existing stack, dedicated logistics agent, and onboarding time
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Act as the logistics coordination hub between Sales, Procurement, Hardware, and external 3PL partners
- Ensure fulfillment capacity and warehouse readiness are aligned with sales forecasts, production schedules, and global inventory needs
- Maintain clear and timely communication across global teams and time zones
- Provide regular updates on shipment status, warehouse capacity, inventory risks, and logistics issues
- Identify operational bottlenecks and work with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements
Essential
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in warehouse management, 3PL operations, logistics operations, or global freight coordination
- Experience in electronics, consumer hardware, or physical product industries is preferred
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, cycle count, RMA, and fulfillment processes
- Familiarity with international freight, Incoterms, customs documents, and sea/air/courier shipment coordination
- ERP system experience
- Experience using AI tools, automation tools, RPA, or workflow automation in real work scenarios is a strong plus
- Willingness to learn and use AI agents as part of daily operations and process improvement
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and ownership mindset
- Good communication skills for working with external logistics partners and internal cross-functional teams
- Professional English communication skills, especially for written communication with international vendors and 3PL partners
Desirable
- Experience managing U.S. market 3PL fulfillment operations
- Experience improving logistics processes through automation, data dashboards, AI tools, or structured workflow design
- Ability to quantify process improvement results, such as time saved, cost reduction, error rate improvement, or productivity gains
- Experience working in a fast-paced global operations environment
