Role Summary
The IT Asset Manager is responsible for managing the BizLink's IT assets, including software, hardware, SaaS subscriptions, vendor agreements, and ISIT contracts.
The role ensures that IT assets are properly tracked, software licenses are compliant, vendors are managed, contracts are controlled, and IT costs are optimized.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets, including planning, procurement, deployment, renewal, retirement, and disposal.
- Manage Software Asset Management (SAM) and ensure software license compliance.
- Manage Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and maintain accurate hardware inventory.
- Track software usage and identify unused or underused licenses.
- Support software audits and license reviews.
- Ensure compliance with software licensing, IT asset policies, vendor agreements, and internal audit requirements.
- Manage relationships with key IT vendors and service providers.
- Track IT contracts, renewals, notice periods, and commercial risks.
- Support contract negotiations with Procurement, Legal, Finance, and ISIT leadership.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities across software, hardware, cloud, and vendor contracts.
- Provide regular reports to the ISIT leadership.
Required Experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience in IT Asset Management, SAM, HAM, Vendor Management, Contract Management, or IT Procurement.
- Experience with major vendors such as Microsoft, SAP, Google, VMware by Broadcom, Dell .. and other enterprise technology providers
- Experience with software licensing, optimization, renewals, vendor negotiations, and software audits.
- Experience with ITAM tools such as ManageEngine ITAM , Microsoft Intune, SCCM, or similar tools.
- Experience in enterprise or multinational IT environments.
Language Requirements
- English and Mandarin Chinese are required at professional working level or above.
