The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a project from start to finish. This candidate will be able to create a plan of action which will consider a fixed timeline and evaluate risks. This individual should also have experience managing people and be an effective communicator.
Responsibilities
- Plan, initiate, and manage IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans and schedules, and monitor progress accordingly.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation and addressing variances.
- Identify project risks and define mitigation strategies while maintaining transparent communication.
- Facilitate meetings to ensure clarity of objectives and expectations.
- Prepare regular project status reports for stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and milestones.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; PMP certification is required.
- 35 years of experience managing IT projects in a technology-driven environment.
- At least 3 years of dedicated experience leading large-scale, international or global IT projects (e.g., ERP implementations, system integrations, global infrastructure rollouts)
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, MS Project, JIRA, ..etc).
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a proven record of driving teams to success.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the Information Technology and Services industry is highly preferred.
