Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of high-performance X86 server, peripheral daughter cards, and GPU platform hardware.
  • Create detailed schematics, PCB layouts, and BOMs (Bill of Materials).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, firmware, and validation engineers to ensure system integration and functionality.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Review and approve design documents, schematics, and layouts.
  • Debug and resolve hardware issues in collaboration with validation and QA teams.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test procedures, and user manuals.
  • Undertake the modification and enhancement of existing designs to elevate the quality standards of server motherboards.
  • Provide technical support to customers and field application engineers.
  • Transfer products to manufacturing with complete documentation and assist C.M. and technical support in solving production issues.
  • Undertake short-term business trips as necessary to provide support for headquarters projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of hand-on experience in x86, GPU/motherboard design debugging, troubleshooting, and testing.
  • Profound understanding of circuit design/analysis (digital, analog, power), high speed signals design, and PCB layout review.
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills, both written and oral, along with effective interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in ODM/OEM customer support.
  • Self-motivated team player with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
