Our client is a global Tier 1 semiconductor manufacturing company, currently seeking experienced SR. Facility Engineers specializing in HVAC and GAS & Chemical area. Strong technical expertise and a background in managing large-scale facility systems within a semiconductor environment.
[Responsibilities for HVAC field]
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of HVAC systems to ensure consistent and reliable performance.
- Perform system diagnostics to identify opportunities for enhanced efficiency, reduced downtime, and cost optimization.
- Assess system performance and capacity impacts in response to changing operational scenarios.
- Develop and implement preventive strategies to mitigate potential system issues, while driving ongoing improvements.
- Lead initiatives focused on enhancing safety, quality, and cost-efficiency through targeted engineering projects.
- Monitor HVAC energy performance and spearhead energy-saving, waste reduction, and system upgrade initiatives.
- Conduct training programs, establish system data records, and facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices.
[Responsibilities for GAS & Chemical field]
- Provide system designs for safe operations and maintenance
- Develop equipment and component specifications
- Ensure designs align with all applicable standards, codes, and regulations
- Keep databases up to date with capacity requirements, including Base Build capacities, POU assignments, and actual field conditions
- Track system capacity relative to current supply loads and forecasted loads
- Prepare periodic system status presentations (system capacity, actual load, and projected loads based on all approved scenarios, key system accomplishments, and challenges/issues)
- Support manufacturing scenario planning according to standard processes
- Evaluate system and distribution capacity impacts based on scenario changes
- Provide scope for facilities infrastructure additions or modifications
- Evaluate Space Planning for future equipment and scenario changes
