Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Engineer in the Cost division, your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and implement cost management strategies to ensure detailed project execution
- Familiar with overall Micron Taiwan cost structure and budgeting process.
- Proactively supervise actual spending results and guide areas to provide accurate spending projections to meet cost benchmarks
- Own cost metrics, be accountable to know details of cost models and connect with strategic thinking
- Understanding business plan cycle and make sure to deliver results on time
- Continuously drive budgeting process improvement.
- Work closely with cost technical team, central team and finance team on cost performance review
- Be the bridge between site and finance on cash cost performance result and provide directions on continuous improvement actions
- Able to lead projects to work with cross-functional teams to initial cost impact assessments and status tracking (PDCA)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in semiconductor manufacturing process/equipment area. Fab engineering and cost related experience is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills and organizational competency and proven ability to lead and collaborate with diverse teams
- With good oral and written English communication skills.
- Time & Project Management skills
- Highly self-motivated and disciplined working behavior with strong stress tolerance
- Fast learner with a passion for processes and multi-tasking.
- Limited travel requirement
