Job Description

Role Summary:
Data and technology have revolutionized industrial manufacturing, transitioning operations from manual processes to automated, system-driven approaches. We are looking for a skilled and passionate Sr. Data Engineer with strong hands-on programming expertise to lead the development of scalable, reusable, and high-performance data-driven products.

As a Sr. Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust data solutions using cutting-edge analytics technologies. You will actively develop and optimize complex data pipelines, perform advanced programming tasks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data transformation, integration, analytics, and business intelligence. Your expertise in software development, data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes will enable you to build automated systems that enhance efficiency and generate meaningful insights across the organization.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize reliable, innovative large-scale data warehousing solutions by building efficient data pipelines, creating optimized aggregates, and developing reports using AWS, Databricks, and SQL Server.
  • Perform hands-on programming tasks such as writing complex SQL queries/ store procedure, Python scripts, and implementing advanced data transformations and automations.
  • Good understanding in data warehouse methodologies, Data Architecture, Data Modeling, and Digital Metadata.
  • Automate data transformations and aggregations using CI/CD practices to ensure high performance and operational reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various sources, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Work within Agile/DevOps frameworks to deliver solutions iteratively through sprints.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, including programming, data warehouse design, and software development.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages, including Python and SQL, with demonstrated experience in writing and reviewing complex queries and scripts.
  • Proficiency in Git for version control, including branching, merging, and pull requests.
  • Experience implementing data modeling and pipelines on AWS Cloud, Databricks, and MS SQL Server.
  • Ability to assess business requirements and perform complex data computations and analyses using advanced programming techniques.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge in IT security data domains and vulnerability management experience with Qualys, Windows Defender, Microsoft Endpoint Management, CyberArk, Nexthink, and Check Point Endpoint preferred.
  • Familiarity with AGILE/SCRUM process management.
  • Quick learner, adaptable to rapidly changing environments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and critical analysis skills.
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and spoken communication skills.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is required. A Master's degree or equivalent professional experience in the field is preferred.
