Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Embedded Linux Systems Engineer to join our engineering team. This role focuses on developing and maintaining software for products built on the NVIDIA Jetson platform. You will work closely with low-level Linux systems, integrate with various hardware components, and support large-scale device deployment to ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for devices based on the NVIDIA Jetson platform
- Interface with camera-related software to capture, process, and handle real-time video streams
- Develop Python application code for system functions such as data processing and device control
- Implement and maintain OTA (Over-the-Air) upgrade mechanisms for deployed devices
- Identify performance bottlenecks across the software stack, from kernel-level components to user applications
- Research and apply best practices and new technologies in embedded systems development
- Collaborate with hardware vendors to diagnose issues and provide resolutions
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience
Required Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
- 3+ years of embedded systems development experience, preferably on Linux-based platforms
- Proficiency in Python; familiarity with Docker, JavaScript, and C/C++
- Knowledge of software deployment workflows and tools for embedded systems
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, device communication, and IoT concepts
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently or in a team
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with PLC usage and communication protocol
- Experience with hardware debugging
- Hands-on experience with the NVIDIA Jetson platform or similar embedded compute modules
