Job Description

Role Summary:

Corning is at the forefront of digital transformation in the manufacturing industry, leveraging advanced data technologies to drive innovation and operational excellence. We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our IT Data & Analytics team and lead the development of scalable, high-performance data solutions.

In this role, you will design and implement robust data pipelines, models, and analytics systems that support decision-making and business efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and apply modern technologies such as AWS, Databricks and DBT to deliver impactful solutions.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Design, development and maintain efficient data pipelines using AWS, Databricks and other technologies to process and store data
  • Automate data transformations and aggregations using CI/CD practices to ensure high performance and reliability
  • Build and maintain data models and data flow diagrams
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications for data solutions, ensuring alignment with operational goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various sources, ensuring consistency and accuracy
  • Work within Agile/DevOps frameworks to deliver solutions through iterative sprints

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehouse design and software developmen
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with data modeling, complex SQL queries, and Python programming
  • Proven experience implementing data pipelines and models on AWS Cloud, Databricks, and MS SQL Server
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., Git)and CI/CD practices
  • Capable of assessing business requirements and performing complex data computations and analyses, with the ability to effectively report findings
  • Experience in manufacturing industry data domains such as ERP, SAP (Supply Chain, Logistics, Planning, Finance), MES, and Quality systems
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Fluent in English, with excellent written and spoken communication abilities
  • Quick learner, adaptable to dynamic business environments

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information System or a related field is required. A Master's degree or equivalent professional experience in the field is preferred.
