Sr. Business Analyst

Job Duties

• APPLY Design and develop computer systems for business and financial clients; consult managers and users to gather and interpret functional specifications and user requirements; perform requirement analysis and proof of concept (POC);
• analyze business and other relevant data processing problems for application to data processing systems;
• analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate and improve existing systems;
• review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations; prepare proof of concepts for new tools, usage scenarios, measure performance, and recommend usage;
• perform GAP analysis and develop programs that meet user requirements;
• determine computer and hardware needed to set up/ alter system, and expand and modify system to improve workflow;
• review and analyze printouts and performance indicators to locate code problems, and correct errors by correcting codes;
• develop, document, and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards; coordinate internal application deployments for modules and environments; provide staff and users with assistance in solving computer- related problems;
• and utilize the following tools and technologies:
• UNIX, Oracle, DB2, Weblogic, Tomcat, PL/ SQL, Eclipse, Flex, OOPS, Java, HTML, XML, XSLT, JDBC, Spring, Servlets, JUnit, J2EE, CVS, and related tools.

Minimum Education Qualifications

• Master degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign education);
• Experience One (1) year of experience in the occupation above, or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or in a related occupation; Other Requirements Experience must include work with Unix, Oracle, Weblogic, Flex, PL/ SQL, Java, JDBC, and J2EE; job may require relocation within the U. S.
