Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Clarify uncertain issues among hardware, software, BIOS and firmware.
- Maintain Legacy/UEFI BIOS source codes used in company.
- Develop UEFI BIOS for motherboards kicking off by company.
- Save source codes to SVN database per company security requirement.
- Coordinate with hardware engineers and vendors to narrow down issues and pursue the goals of the project.
- Respond to customer BIOS issue and perform other BIOS projects as assigned by manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor&aposs or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in BIOS/UEFI development, preferably in x86 architecture.
- Strong knowledge of C programming, assembly language, and firmware development tools.
- Good understanding of hardware components, including CPU, memory, storage, and PCIe devices.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
