Your tasks
- Responsible for RF component applications.
- Perform technical support for general-purpose RF instruments for the customers.
- Partner with Sales as a technical owner for pre-sales activities, e.g. demonstrates product capability and performance.
- Online/On-site customer support, e.g. including presentation, demonstration, training, and application cases.
- Building a long-term, trustworthy relationship with customers as technical experts.
- Develop strong links with R&S HQ.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering or comparable field of studies.
- Customer-centric and people-facing personality with a strong curiosity to learn new topics.
- Experience in instrument operations, e.g. Vector Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, Power Meter, and Oscilloscope.
- RF system-related experience and microwave engineering knowledge.
- Willing to travel to customers sites (50% of time).
- Active/Passive RF components, high-speed cable/connectors experience is a major plus.
- Presentation experiences for online/physical technical seminars is a plus.
- Communication system experience (baseband + RF) is a plus.
- Familiar with Instrument control and SCPI via software platforms, like C/C++/C#, Python, Matlab, or LabVIEW is a plus.
