The opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy as a Sourcing Manager and be an expert. This role allows you to gain in-depth knowledge of the specific market and provide our clients with the best-in-class product. You'll play a crucial role in making a significant impact on our business growth and customer satisfaction and contribute to building a team/function. How You'll Make An Impact

  • You will be providing sourcing and procurement strategies to internal stakeholders.
  • You will manage the entire sourcing and procurement cycle from sourcing and purchasing to settlement.
  • You will ensure support sources for diverse and competitive sources. Ensures the availability of vendors in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at minimum acceptable levels.
  • You will monitor inventory requests, production schedules and purchase requisitions to coordinate purchasing activities for current/anticipated demand of materials and services.
  • You will collect suppliers quotations and examine bids. Identifies and selects suppliers that meet the organization's standards of price, quality and delivery. Negotiate terms and manage supplier relationships.
  • You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • You hold a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • Required with 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in sourcing tools and ERP systems
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
