Solutions Specialist

Major Responsibilities:

• Provide pre-sales consulting services and focus on AV, Unified Communications (UC), and acoustic solution designaccording to corporate customers needs, including but not limited tosmart meeting rooms, video conferencing systems, commercial display/video walls, centralized AV control, Public Address (PA), Background Music (BGM), and Intercom systems.
• Well articulate the solution benefits, Pros and Cons in comparing differentAV/UC/Acoustic vendor products (e.g., Crestron, Extron, Logitech, Poly, Yealink, Shure, Bosch, TOA, Biamp, Zenitel)and understand differentiations as well as values to customer business.
• Work closely with internal sales, product, and engineering teams to formulate an effective and efficientAV/UC, PA/BGM, and collaborative workplace solutionto address customer challenges.
• Derive and designintegrated AV and ELV solutionsthat may involve single or multiple sub-system(s), e.g.,AV-over-IP (AVoIP), networked PA/BGM systems, IP intercoms, smart office automation, interactive displays, digital signage, hybrid workspace tools, etc.
• Design and conductProof of Concept (PoC) and live demonstrationsof proposed AV, PA, and intercom solutions to Enterprise customers.
• Prepare sales proposals, tender responses,acoustic/AV schematic diagrams (such as signal flow, speaker layout, and coverage maps), and high-level deployment plans.
• Participate in the account development plans of major accounts to formulate AV/ELV strategies and assist in exploring new smart building and collaborative technology opportuniti es across different industries.

The Person:

• Degree holder inElectronic/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Audio-Visual Technology,or related disciplines.
• At least5 years relevant experiencein layout design and solution provisioning forlarge-scale AV / UC / PA infrastructuresis required, along with proficiency in the design and consulting ofAV-over-IP (AVoIP), IP-based PA/BGM, and IP intercom networks.
• Holder of professional-level certification in the AV or acoustic domain area, e.g., AVIXA CTS (Certified Technology Specialist), CTS-D (Design), CTS-I (Installation), or equivalent vendor certifications (e.g., Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Dante, Bosch, TOA) is preferrable.
• Both broad and deep technology knowledge ofmodern AV standards, acoustic design, PA/BGM speaker calculation/coverage, intercom routing, and network integration, with the ability to architect solutions by mapping common customer business problems to end-to-end technology solutions.
• Self-motivated with good technical sales, presentation, and communication skills.
• Proven analytical abilities and a strong work ethic.
• Strong sense of responsibility, well-organized, reliable, and possessing a good team spirit.
• Independent, confident, proactive, and mature.
• Good command of both spoken and written Chinese and English.
