The Solutions Architect is a key technical leader within GN's DC FLW organization, responsible for defining and validating solutions and system-level architectures for next-generation audio and communication products designed for frontline workers.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping end-to-end product architectures spanning hardware, firmware, software, and audio systems to deliver technically robust, scalable, and cost-efficient solutions. As the bridge between product vision and technology execution, you will ensure architectural integrity and alignment with GN's enterprise-wide platform roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead system and solution architecture definition, translating product and experience goals into clear technical frameworks.
- Drive platform and technology strategy for frontline worker products, shaping future architectures and supplier collaboration models.
- Evaluate and validate architectures across chipset, hardware, firmware, software, audio, and user-experience domains.
- Identify and mitigate key technical risks and dependencies to ensure project feasibility and delivery success.
- Lead technical direction and architectural execution throughout the development lifecycle to ensure scalability and performance.
- Enable informed decisions across teams and partners through clear technical communication.
Collaboration & Success Factors
- Lead solution providers and JDM partners in defining architectures, validating feasibility, and ensuring design quality and delivery consistency.
- Partner with chipset and technology vendors to assess platforms, evaluate emerging technologies, and align with GN's technology roadmap.
- Demonstrate cross-functional leadership and communication excellence, ensuring clear alignment and collaboration between GN teams and external partners.
Professional Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in R&D or system architecture for audio, communication, or IoT products.
- Proven expertise in chipset platforms, embedded software/firmware, system integration, and audio performance.
- Strong experience with JDM or co-development models, including supplier evaluation and technical engagement.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills; able to drive technical alignment across organizations and partners.
- Exceptional analytical and system-level thinking, balancing performance, cost, and schedule trade-offs.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
