Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This technical solution support role is designed for a seasoned professional with over two years of experience in server technologies, ideally holding a BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline. The candidate will play a critical role in ensuring system reliability and customer satisfaction by addressing hardware and firmware issues, supporting new product evaluations, and collaborating across teams to resolve technical challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Timely replication and clarification of customer-reported issues.
- Root cause analysis in partnership with R&D and lab teams.
- Support for New Product Introduction (NPI), Proof of Concept (POC), and trade show system evaluations.
- Customized hardware testing and OS installation for enterprise clients.
- Development of shell scripts for hardware diagnostics.
Qualifications:
- Education: BS/MS EE, CE, CS, or other engineering fields.
- 2+ years of server technology related experience
- Experienced in configuring server systems or OEM business for electronic appliances
- Strong Linux and VMware expertise.
- Advanced server/workstation hardware knowledge
- Strong hardware troubleshooting skills
- Strong disciplinary attitude to target issue fix in time
- Ability to work independently with customers while maintaining effective team collaboration
- Experience with Bash scripting, familiar with Linux
