Job Summary:
We are seeking a Solution Architect with experience in ArcGIS / enterprise GIS focused on Architecting the solutions to provide technical leadership for enterprise GIS platforms, cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, integration, security, and operational support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership and architecture for enterprise GIS platforms, preferably Esri ArcGIS Enterprise.
- Design and support GIS cloud/hybrid architectures across AWS, Azure, GCC/GCC+ or equivalent platforms.
- Lead/support GIS migration, upgrades, infrastructure modernization, HA, backup and disaster recovery initiatives.
- Design GIS integrations using REST APIs, web services, SFTP, IAM, SSO and authentication.
- Manage geospatial databases, data models, metadata, governance and data lifecycle.
- Perform technical assessments, solution reviews, troubleshooting, root cause analysis and performance optimization.
- Work with vendors, infrastructure, cybersecurity and business teams to deliver and support GIS solutions.
- Ensure solutions comply with Government security, architecture and governance requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, GIS, Geomatics, Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in GIS Solution Architecture, GIS Engineering, Technical Lead or equivalent roles. Overall experience not more than 15 years ..
- Strong hands-on experience with Enterprise GIS / ArcGIS Enterprise.
- Experience across the full GIS project lifecycle - architecture, implementation, migration, deployment and operations.
- Experience supporting production-critical GIS environments with HA, security, monitoring, backup and DR.
- Strong stakeholder, vendor management and communication skills.
- ArcGIS: ArcGIS Enterprise, Portal, ArcGIS Server, Data Store, Web Adaptor, Experience Builder, Dashboards, ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Pro.
- Cloud: AWS / Azure / GCC / GCC+, hybrid cloud architecture.
- Integration: REST APIs, web services, SFTP, IAM, SSO, WOG AD and API security.
- Database: PostgreSQL/PostGIS, SQL Server, Oracle, geodatabases and spatial data models.
- GIS Standards: WMS, WMTS, WFS, GeoJSON, feature services and map services.
- Automation: Python, ArcPy and GIS automation.
- Infrastructure: HA, backup, DR, monitoring, performance optimization and infrastructure modernization.
- Security: Government security, risk assessment, compliance and secure-by-design practices.
Good to Have:
- ArcGIS Enterprise administration and troubleshooting.
- ArcGIS Enterprise on AWS/GCC+.
- Government GIS / multi-agency geospatial platform experience.
- GIS cloud migration and transformation experience.
- Experience with WOG AD, IAM, SSO and API security.
