Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Software Project Manager to join our client's growing team. This role involves overseeing the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of fintech products, experience in managing remote teams, and a strong technical background.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Execution: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and QA engineers, to ensure successful project delivery. Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members to meet project objectives.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Monitor and manage project risks and issues, escalating as necessary.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing status updates, managing expectations, and ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and are aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
- Budget Management: Track project budgets and expenditures, ensuring that projects are completed within financial constraints.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in software project management, preferably within the fintech industry. Experience managing remote teams is highly desirable.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.) and experience with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams to deliver successful projects.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering practical solutions to complex challenges.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.
