Successful candidates need to be comfortable with working on weekends, and rotation shifts as and when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide day-to-day production support for the Client Connect users.
- Identify root cause, corrective, improvement action, and track improvement action until closure in compliance with the bank standards.
- Communicate application problems and issues to key stakeholders.
- Able to take ownership of issues and follow through to closure.
- Ability to provide continuous improvement initiatives and automating recurring tasks to reduce toil.
- Work effectively in collaboration with different teams either local or remote.
- To develop monitoring tools/alerts to for proactive actions
- To communicate effectively and work efficiently with a group of people supporting both functional/technical areas.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and SDLC (application delivery)
- Assist application teams in setting up SLI, SLOand Error budget for the system/s
- Participate in Blameless Incident Retrospectives and follow up on action items.
- Work with application teams for Observability, automating monitoring and auto remediation of known issues.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology or related field.
- Around 8 Years and above of relevant experience
Core Technical competency:
- Experience with full stack software development.
- Experience with any Programming Language
- Experience with any Message Queue
- Experience with any NOSQL & RDBMS
- Core Java, JavaScript, GO/Golang, Python, Unix Scripting
- Nodejs, Meteor Framework
- Sybase, MariaDB, MongoDB, Redis or any in-memory cached
- Message Queues (e.g. IBM MQ), Kafka
- Solaris, Redhat Linux or any Unix or Linux OS flavor
- Html, Xml, JSON, Flatbuffer
