Software Engineer

LungTeh's software development team play a critical role in helping the company undergo a digital transformation. We work closely with other departments to understand their work processes and design solutions the help our coworkers be more productive and effective. Our plan includes creating a Digital Twin which is the digital model that describes LTS ship's geometry, material, components and production process. This will become a foundation for services that provides the information to enable optimal decision making and lays the ground work for automation.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer and internal business requirements
• Develop applications that meet those needs
• Collaborate closely with customers, management and other departments
• Document application for users and developers
• Provide user support for software and services

Requirements

• Object Oriented Programming and scripting experience
• BS or MS in computer science or equivalent experience
• Good English reading and writing skills
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools
• Experience with Python, MySQL/MariaDB, MSSQL and Linux is a plus
