Software Engineer (L3)

Job Description

Play the key role to ensure our applications reliability, stability, and continuous improvement

• Up to 21 days of Annual Leave, Birthday off, etc

Responsibilities:

1. Provide L2 & L3 technical support across whole-of-government & citizen-fronting products.
2. Manage and respond to support tickets, ensuring timely investigation, communication and resolution in accordance with service levels.
3. Investigate production issues across applications, APIs, cloud infrastructure, integrations and web technologies.
4. Analyse application logs, system metrics, browser behaviour and network traffic to identify root causes.
5. Perform operational configuration changes, product onboarding, validation and feature enablement where required.
6. Work closely with Software Engineers and DevOps Engineers to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
7. Own incidents from initial user report through investigation, stakeholder communication, resolution and post-incident review.

Requirements:

• min. Degree in any IT discipline
• Experience supporting production applications, cloud-based platforms or enterprise systems.
• Ability to investigate production issues using logs, monitoring tools, browser developer tools and system diagnostics.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting web applications, APIs, integrations, networking or cloud infrastructure.
