Software Engineer (Java)

Job:

. Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable applications.

. Work in Agile squads with engineers, analysts, and domain experts to deliver high-impact solutions.

Role:

. Build backend services and APIs using Java/Spring Boot for mission-critical systems.

. Follow secure coding practices.

. Participate in design discussions, write clean, maintainable code, and conduct code reviews.

. Integrate with databases, middleware, and external systems.

. Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.

. Write unit/integration tests.

. Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment, and troubleshooting in prod/UAT.

. Work closely with business analysts, QA, DevSecOps, and project managers in Agile sprints.

Requirements:

. Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.

. Has 2 to 5 years professional Java development work experience.

. Fresh grads with strong projects/internships also considered for Junior role.

. Strong Java 8+, Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL, Git. Experience with JPA/Hibernate, Maven/Gradle.

. Familiar with Linux, Docker, Jenkins/GitLab CI. Basic understanding of microservices architecture.

. Problem-solver, good at debugging, attention to detail.

. Can work independently and in a team.

. Good to have Spring Cloud, Kafka/RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch Angular/React for full-stack exposure.

. Cloud experience: AWS, Azure, or GCP

. This role will need to secure a clearance, due to the sensitivity of the project.
