Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in C++ or C programming language.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Experience in embedded system or firmware environments.
- Experience in Linux kernel development.
- Experience with BMC, with contributions to the upstream community, and knowledge of standards like Redfish, Platform Level Data Model (PLDM), Management Component Transport Protocol (MCTP).
- Experience in using Quick Emulator (QEMU) for hardware emulation and system modeling.
- Knowledge of high-speed Input/Output Peripherals (e.g., Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe), USB, Ethernet, Embedded Multi-Media Card (eMMC)) or low-speed Input/Output Peripherals (e.g., Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter (UART), Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI), I2C, I3C, JTAG).

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements. Write detailed specifications and design documents for software architecture and systems.
- Work with open-source software, develop and integrate server management software.
- Maintain and provide support for systems in the fleet.
- Develop, maintain and integrate software test infrastructure, unit tests and integration tests.
- Lead the vendors to achieve code quality.
