Job Description

The Software Engineer is responsible to develop softwarebased on design requirements and ensure programs are working to specification,program codes have conformed to standards and are delivered with qualitymeeting schedule and requirements.

- Gather requirements work with Business Analysts and TeamLead in reviewing and refining functional specifications, provide efficient andfeasible solution.

- Analyse functional requirements to translate intoapplication design using established design methodologies and guidelines.

- Analyse process/program specifications and translatespecifications to program codes, conforming to program guidelines andprogramming best practices.

- Make changes to configurable items, which includehardware, software, documentation, etc. It covers configuration managementplanning, configuration identification, configuration controls and audits.

- Develop unit test package, execute tests and document testresults to ensure the quality of the program.

- Assist in the integration testing, system testing, UserAcceptance Test ( UAT) and implementation activities or to fix the reportedproblems/bugs of the system to ensure the smooth execution of programs in theproduction environment.

- Investigate all reported problems/errors and initiateamendments and testing so that the system can operate correctly andefficiently.

- Ensure codes comply with client security guidelines.

- Conduct peer reviews to improve project quality.

- Prepare and maintain up-to-date application systemdocumentation.
