About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to lead the integration of AI tools and workflows into our engineering environment. This role focuses on implementing developer productivity tools (e.g., VSCode AI extensions such as Kilo), building internal AI applications, and enabling automation such as document translation using LLMs.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate AI tools into the company's development environment, including customizing VSCode plugins and internal workflows.
- Develop internal AI applications using OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or other LLM APIs.
- Build automation solutions for document translation, summarization, and content generation.
- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, IT, and business teams to identify and deliver AI-driven improvements.
- Support POCs and drive AI adoption across the organization.
- Stay updated on emerging AI tools and development practices.
Requirements
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Go, C#, etc.).
- Experience with RESTful APIs and cloud-based AI/LLM services.
- Ability to develop or customize VSCode extensions (or willingness to learn).
- Strong problem‑solving ability and experience with system integration.
- Good communication skills and cross‑team collaboration capability.
- DevOps/CI/CD experience and integrating AI into pipelines.
- Experience with enterprise document systems (Confluence, SharePoint).
Nice to Have
- Experience building internal chatbots or RAG systems.
- Familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS).
