Snowflake Cortex AI & Collibra Data Governance Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled Snowflake Cortex AI & Collibra Specialist with hands-on experience in Snowflake AI capabilities, enterprise data governance, and write-back functionality.

The ideal candidate must have practical experience integrating Snowflake Cortex AI with Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud and implementing AI-driven data solutions within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.

The role involves designing scalable AI-powered data solutions, enabling governed data access, managing metadata and data lineage, and implementing seamless write-back capabilities across enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement enterprise AI solutions using Snowflake Cortex AI.
• Integrate Snowflake with Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud for data cataloging, governance, metadata management, lineage, and data stewardship.
• Implement and maintain write-back functionality to transfer AI-generated insights, processed data, and business decisions into Snowflake tables or connected enterprise systems.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data processing workflows.
• Work with structured and semi-structured datasets to enable AI-powered analytics and business intelligence solutions.
• Establish data governance frameworks, data quality standards, access controls, and compliance processes.
• Collaborate with data engineering, data science, governance, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical and life sciences data standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot integration issues, optimize system performance, and maintain reliable data pipelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and Snowflake Cortex AI.
• Practical experience integrating Snowflake Cortex AI with Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud.
• Proven experience implementing write-back functionality in Snowflake-based solutions.
• Strong SQL skills, including query optimization, data transformation, and stored procedures.
• Experience with Collibra Data Catalog, metadata management, data lineage, and data governance.
• Knowledge of APIs, Python, connectors, and enterprise integration frameworks.
• Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture, data quality, security, and governance.
• Mandatory experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
• Experience working with regulated enterprise data environments.

Good to Have Skills

• Experience with Snowflake Cortex Analyst, Cortex Search, and Cortex LLM functions.
• Knowledge of Snowflake Streams, Tasks, Stored Procedures, and Data Pipelines.
• Familiarity with GxP, GxP-relevant data governance, and pharmaceutical compliance requirements.
• Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise data platforms and downstream business applications.
